I just got to teach Pip’ kids classes as I did last week while she’s away. They’re very cute. And VERY LOUD! But easily entertained. It was a bit stressful and I lost my voice, but secretly I was having a ball. Particularly proud of a spontaneous game I made up where we imagined attaching strings to our toes which we pulled at very times to make them flex or point. Very fun. Ah small things.
The greatest problem I’m facing at this point in time is the fact that I really just want to sleep but I still have to go back and teach a tap class then lead a prayer meeting.
Camp was a little…well tiring really. But GOOD. I think I’m getting old. Both less excited about and less able to stay up talking till all hours of the morning and still function the next day. Sad really. Thought my age didn’t stop me from dressing like cat woman and running around acting completely crazy. How fun are dress ups??
My favourite bit was the workshop Loz & I ran on worship. God was amazing. Well, god is amazing. But the way he moved in that time reminded me just how amazing he is.
I really do love what God’s got me doing right now.

I bought a new phone yesterday. And then I woke up this morning and thought ‘Did I just indulge in something I don’t really need?’ Oh dear. Best not to think about it really. It’s done now. And it is rather fun.
Off to camp tonight. And I still haven’t worked out my Superhero outfit. Hmmm.

Adventures on the bus…a little mandarin rereshment disposed of in a plastic glove conveniently discovered in JO KEMP’s hand bag.

Oh my gosh…is that JO KEMP’s brother??

The crowds hit George St and Darth himself makes an appearance

Waiting…waiting…
Adventures of The Lint Episode 2…

Do we think the ‘Lint Hand’ will sell?

Waiting…

Dress ups!!

The faithful.
And there it was 12:01 am Thursday May 19 2005. My favourite part was Yoda knocking out 2 security guards with his elbows from a distance. And added to that pleasure was the fact the crowd erupted in applause.

Waiting for the nightride bus in the freezing cold. I believe that’s JO KEMP trying to hide…

Oo and there’s JO KEMP in her pretty pink with…ooo a boy!
JO KEMP, I dedicate this post to you.

I love surprises
And surprises that arrive in the mail are even more fun. I think the technological age has made snail mail much more exciting.
Today is a smiley day

I think I’m ALMOST back in the land of the living.
This morning a I did my first whole ballet class for probably about 12 months. It’s quite scary being around pro’s. I’m quite proud of myself that I stuck it out to the end. I decided it was good for me to be in a dance environment where I looked like a complete fool and unco for a while. I got a lot to work on.
This afternoon I ate an awful lot of chocolate. Which wasn’t very productive. I also caught up on blogs which may or may not be defined as productive depending on the value you place on such activities.
I also connected with my creative self in teaching and worship band practise. Go the vibe! I had a ball.
Emotional is what i am. In all sorts of extreme directions.
Oh well, I’m sure I’ll get over it.

I hate goodbyes
I love hellos
I hate Departures
I love Arrivals
Happiness feels good
Sadness feels hard
But God is good
And His love endures forever

Out of nowhere a security guard asks:
‘Do you miss him already?’
How did he know?

Goal no. 1: Finish writing a Bible study on Jonah 2 before I go to sleep tonight
Goal no. 2: Sleep without thinking too much
Goal no. 3: Wake up with less of a cold rather than more of one
Goal no. 4: Practise patience
Goal no. 5: Trust God
Goal no. 6: Relax
Goal no. 7: Have fun

2 down and 1 to go.
I rarely lead 3 services in 24 hours, but this is the weekend for it and I’m kinda enjoying it. It makes me feel more in touch with the spectrum of our communtiy and what God’s doing throughout it when you lead a youth event, a morning service and an evening service all in one stint.
Usual spiritual lesson was learnt yet again this morning…God seems to work the most powerfully when I feel at my weakest. Thanks God. I guess you’ll probably keep teaching me that.
I LOVED last night. Watching God stir young people to worship boldly, stir them to share Jesus, and to see young people decide to follow Jesus. There’s just nothing in the world qutie like that. I remember why I’m in this job.
This morning we focussed on the Micah Challenge. It was good. But challenging.
We must go
Live to feed the hungry
Stand besisde the broken
We must go
Stepping forward
Keep us from just singing
Lead us into action
We must go
Tim Hughes
Sometimes I feel like I’m too busy to act. Bit silly really.
