Adventures of a day off

Let me see, this morning I lay in bed listening to worship music and reading Proverbs. So much wisdom it’s hard to take it all in. I then caught up with both DJ & Jon in Rockhampton on the phone. Then I confess I went back to bed and slept. Body gave up on me. I then attempted to deal with phone issues (my old number is up and running again for those who want to contact me!! Yay.)

This afternoon I relaxed in the Citrus Cafe in Newtown drinking a Chai latte, eating a vego focaccia and prayer journalling. Very vibey. I managed to write long lists of pros and cons on various large decisions I’m making in my life. Gosh it’s a good feeling to discover that your pro’s lists are WAY bigger than your cons. I then went to visit Phil & Guin to have chats and prays with Guin. I love Phil & Guin. Walking back to my car I found a container of bubbles in my bag so i decided to blow them into the air as I strolled through Newtown. I was challenged to do something crazy yesterday and didn’t so I decided this could make up for it. It felt rather liberating.

And tonight was church vision meeting. I come alive with the challenge of capturing in words big picture ideas and concepts. It was actually a meeting I didn’t mind being at on my day off.

Today doesn’t quite compare to my last day off when I was galavanting around Southbank in Brisbane with Jon. That was quite unique indeed. And special :) But definately enjoyable in a different kind of way.

My life’s full of adventures :)
Thanks God for adventures.

That sounds so way fun. You’ve inspired me to go to Newtown and drink Chai and blow bubbles on my days off.
