The Mighty One, God, the LORD,
speaks and summons the earth
from the rising of the sun to the place where it sets.
From Zion, perfect in beauty,
God shines forth.

…Surely you desire truth in the inner parts,
you teach me wisdom in the inmost place…
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart,
O God, you will not despise.
