Last night I baked banana muffins. I felt very wifely. This is after I baked choc chip cookies on Monday.

filming on sand dunes was funly adventurous and creatively inspiring
lying in bed sick for 2 days straight alone was excruciatingly crazy making
walking out of my office for the last time was nostalgically sad and quietly freeing

We drove through the e-only lane over the bridge last night and it went ‘bleep’. How fun. Our fist new e-tag experience. No more coins for us. Although there’s something about getting out your gold coins that actually reminds you that you’re paying. This way it feels free.

I still think the red coat hanger’s tacky.

It’s film season again. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but there’s somthing I really like about film season. It’s a little scary. But pretty fun too. Got to sit in on our first full cast read through last night. I like it. After a year of talking it’s quite satisfying to watch and hear some doing.

I hope it works!

Feel the creative juices flowing….

Jon and I are officially addicted to West Wing. We’re half way through series 3 now. I don’t think I’ve watched so much television in one go in my life. I’ve started to dream about the goings on in the Whitehouse. It’s also made me a lot more feisty. Sometimes I think I’d like to be a politician.

In other news, we were up the mountains for four days and stayed in Leura. Rain, cold, wind, sunshine. Night time spas. Pottering in bookshops and art galleries. Walking across cliff tops, descending and ascending valleys. Staring into space at lookouts. Zoning out in style. Drawing pictures. Reading the Hobbit out loud. Coffee and lunch with a view.

A goal for 2007: regular trips to beautiful places.

We went to church up the road this morning and are now home with not much to do. Is this really a sunday??? Feels good.
