Well, today’s a day off and I’m gonna try and keep it that way. So far it’s inlcuded some Facebook time, blog reading, photo sorting….. Am hoping to perhaps get a little sun that I sense is out the window, perhaps when my husband comes back to life I might convince hm to take me to a random suburb for a late breakfast…
I’m glad I’ve learnt to have days off.

I fear facebook has been distracting me from the world of blogs. I’ve not been faithful. I’m sorry.
So nice to spend a morning pottering. It’s been a while. I finally feel like I can stop today.
Ah.

A couple of weeks ago Tom came over and happened to bring with him with the first DVD in series 6 of West Wing. And now we’re hooked. Finished Disc 5 last night. It’s so addictive! Tom, you did this to me!! I really am enjoying it though. It’s nice to be back in the land of the Whitehouse and campaign trails.

Yesterday was great.
We headed down the Princes Highway and explored the Royal National Park. Went driving, sat on rock & ate lunch in Bundeena and then went walking by the Hacking River at Audley. I lvoe the bush. We have such an amazing diversity of scenery in Sydney. Blessed.
We then spontaneously met up with Jon’s brother and wife for dinner. Felt good to be spontaneous and nice to catch up with them.
In other news, on Wed I taught tap at the Hillsong Performing Arts Winter Workshops. Was fun. And had an amazing conversation with a visiting dancer from the States and the head of dance at Hillsong. Very fascinating.
I’m thinking a lot about the future at the moment. God’s got it. I’m excited. And petrified. All at the same time.
It’s been nice to have a bit of space. Next week is back to teaching, college and work.
Today I’m off to hang out with Christian dancers performing at Circular Quay. Should be interesting.

I’ve made it to July. I thought it would never come. Time for sleep. And coffees. And a road trip. And catching up on life.

Well, it’s 230 in the morning and I’m up reading blogs. That’s very unusual for the 1030pm bed goer that I am.
Trying out some new stragtegies to try and enhance the possibility of me sleeping.
Jon & I got home from the dress rehearsal buzzing and ate some soup. Then went to bed at midnight. I lay in bed attempting strategy number 1….writing down all the things I was thinking I wanted to do to fix the show before Sat and all the people I need to talk to and what I want to say to them. I wrote a whole page’s worth. I figured if I wrote them down I’d stop thinking.
Didn’t work. Kept thinking. Couldn’t sleep.
Another factor is that I injured my back tonight. Sadly another dancer got into character so much that our pretend fighting actual injured me. Oh dear. Pain means I can’t sleep.
SO I got up. To reheat the heat pack, blow my nose and take some Panadol. I’ve now written a further 3 pages of notes. Hopefully I’ve exhausted all the possibilities now.
So here I am in the world of blogs.
Might read some news or something soon so I can worry about other people’s problems. And then try sleep again.
I just yawned. That’s a good sign.
